PPG Optical Monomers and Coatings

PPG is a leading producer of optical grade monomers and coatings used in the manufacture of ophthalmic lenses. For more than six decades, lens wearers have relied on PPG’s value lens material—CR-39® monomer—for outstanding optical quality and durability at a low price. Additionally, PPG's TRIVEX® and Tribrid™ lens materials provide the unique combination of optical quality, lightweight comfort, strength, thinness and protection. PPG’s HI-GARD® lens coating solution provides robust scratch resistance for ophthalmic lenses made from plastic materials.
