Sacavém employees make life more colorful for disabled
Employees from the PPG architectural coatings facility in Sacavém, Portugal, made life a little bit brighter for the children and young adults who live at Associação Projecto Jovem (APJ) after they donated their free time to freshen up the facility. The organization helps children with psychological and physical disabilities develop and strengthen their personal, social and professional skills. PPG also contributed paints and other materials to the project.
“It was an amazing day and we enjoyed every moment,” said Carina Gomes, human resources, internal communications, PPG Iberia. “It meant a lot to us to give the children a renewed space with cheerful colors. We had a terrific time working together throughout the day, and we were happy that our efforts will make a difference. We are already looking forward to helping out again.”
