PPG Foundation invests $9,500 in Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana career readiness programs

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Feb. 7, 2018 – PPG (NYSE:PPG) today announced that the PPG Foundation invested $9,500 to support Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana, which prepares and inspires young people to succeed in the global economy. The grant will support financial literacy and career exploration programs for high school students. The donation was made on behalf of PPG’s architectural coatings business and 15 PPG PAINTS™ retail stores in Louisville.

Junior Achievement forges the link between school and the workplace with programs geared toward workforce readiness, job shadowing and career success.

“PPG is committed to helping young people make informed decisions about their future and  fostering necessary skills for students going into the business world,” said Christine Smith, PPG plant manager, Louisville.
