This PPG Ibérica plant is located in Laguna de Duero, where on a total surface of 70.000 m², the production facilities and buildings are spread over some 17.000 m².
Within PPG’s European organization this plant is integrated in the Automotive Business Unit (manufacturing of primers, basecoats, clearcoats, topcoats, adhesives and sealants, elastomeric plastic coatings), although specific manufacturing cells produce coatings for the General Industries market: appliances, transportation and coil.
This industrial site employs PPG Ibérica’s Quality Assurance Management System, which enabled the Plant to obtain the International ISO-9001 in May 2000, recently renewed under TS-16949:2002 and ISO-14000 in November 2002. It has also assisted in attaining higher standards on Safety and Industrial Hygiene, Quality, Efficiency and Environmental policies.
