PPG Ibérica’s Environment, Health and Safety Department is located at the Laguna de Duero, Valladolid plant. From here support is given in these areas as well as in Product Safety to all PPG work centers and manufacturing facilities in Spain and Portugal.
For dealing with Work Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics and applied Psychosociology issues, the area has established its own Prevention Services. With regard to the fourth mandatory regulation, Health Surveillance, this is being handled externally
The Department has 5 technical Specialists in Prevention of Work Risks with various other specialties, two of them located at the Rubí (Barcelona) and Quart de Poblet, (Valencia) plants.
